The Motherless Baby

O, baby, my dear baby,
What are you whispering in your soul
What are you bargaining with your life all alone
This merciless world will not give you a breath of peace
Only the singsong voice of the withered leaves is fumbling with you
Marks of sweating blood kissing your face
No fire is stoked for your hunger
Will you carry on the with a burden of beast?

O, the motherless baby,
Who has left you alone in this world
Who has given so much silence of pain and agony?
Can you not forgo your legacy
Can you not shout like a tormented fire
All will then fall at your feet of mercy
You are born out of the chaos of eternity
No body has ever given you a kiss of conscience
In this merciless world you are bearing the burden of your own
Are you the epitome of Mother Nature's grace and glory?

O, the daughter of storm,
Only Mother Nature will rescue you
Only Mother Nature will will be your only refuge
She will give you life, she will give you honey and milk
You will feel the touch of falling rain
You will hear the songs of the nightingale
You will lie with the soft blessings of the distant valley
Dew will drop with your tears.

That is your destiny, O, the motherless baby,
Beasts of the jungle will lie at your feet
And you will live and live in your own dreams.
