Hold Your Head High, Mother!

Hold your head high, mother
Burn your desires in flames of your agony
God will never rescue you, God will never forgive you
Why are you crying in vain?
Stormy petrel sings for you
The fairy girl has danced all the way
Will you ever dream for your soulful life?
Will you once walk along the aisle for your salvation?

Look at those stars dancing at your feet
The sky is smiling on your roar of silence
Lift your veil and pray to them from your heart
They will save you from your disguises
They will raise your soul's voice to the seventh sky
Why are you lowering your self in vain?

Someday the storms will fly in rage
All the devils will be driven back
The rains will drizzle like flower
And you will get back your hime and hearth
And your hunger will never prick your pains
Your face will glow softly in the burning sun
Darkness will never step into your world

Oh, Mother! Hold your head high, Mother!
